“We're losing our last Harrier!” Badyr hollered as only two ships stood between the death ship and theirs.

Another loud hum was heard as the remaining frigate was fired up by a steady ray of light. The ship exploded and sent debris flying everywhere.

“Make the warp now!” Chase panicked as he saw the enemy ship beginning to charge up again.

“Where?” Badyr stuttered.

“Anywhere! Get us out of this sector!” Chase shouted angrily at the intelligence of his men.

“Copy, warping now!” Badyr inputted random coordinates and slammed the button.

As the space around Chase's cruiser began to warp, he caught a glimpse of his last remaining Genesis disintegrated by a round of the ship's weapons. Before the enemy could charge and fire another round at Chase's cruiser, the space had fully warped and successfully taken the last cruiser away from imminent death.

“Thank goodness!” Chase breathed relief at their close escape.

“What in the universe was that?” Badyr looked at the crew.

“Death!” one pirate shouted.

“That does not look like another pirate fleet...the technology is way to high.” another pirate guessed.

“Pull up battle logs.” Chase walked to the hologram table and looked at a Badyr.

“Here it is.” Badyr slid a computer chip from his computer into the hologram table.

A medium-sized black cruiser mounted with four menacing turrets projected onto the table and moved to engage the first Harrier scout. A small light source was seen on each turret before it charged up and fired a stream of lasers.

“Ok...what is that ship and what is that weapon?” Chase studied at the recordings.

As the ship exited out of warp, it nearly collided with another ship in space. Chase immediately cut the engines off and sent the thrusters on reverse before it rammed into an Exodus cruiser. From the bridge, Chase was able to make out the words “NB Bandit” on its starboard due to close proximity.

“Sir, more fleets are incoming!” Badyr looked at his scanners as a circle of ships formed around their cruiser.

Chase turned his head to look at the port side and saw two Rancors marked “NB Remali” and three Talon frigates marked “NB Archon” on his starboard side.

“Badyr...what sector did we land in...?” Chase gulped nervously.

“Umm...sir, it's sector 1600 on planet 1604...” Badyr frowned at their sheer luck of their random jump.

 Another three Exodus cruisers came out of the bluish small planet below and had the words “NB Gaven” painted on its hull. Chase wanted to find NB to pillage and now his wish was granted as he was placed dead centre in the NB Communications Relay Outpost.
